I just won a First Place in IPA: Fine art Nudes!

I don’t normally check my email on my train ride back home today because TTC does not have wifi or cellphone coverage in the tunnel. I only get a brief connection to cellphone signal when the train goes ground level for about two stops. Also, I normally napped in the train anyways. However, today I woke up from my nap and decided I was going to check my email, and I got a new mail saying IPA winners were announced. I was very surprised because I thought the winners wouldn’t be announced until mid-October, and it was only the first week of October. I immediately tried to look up my name in the winners gallery, in a hope that I could find something, be it I won or not, before the signal got cut off again. I didn’t want to be suspended. Guess what? I found my name in the winner’s gallery! First Place in Fine Art Nudes category! I was so pleasantly surprised. Being a graduate student in engineering, I had very little time to work on any artistic related work. I just feel so grateful and happy right now. I should probably get back to my Inverse Theory assignment now, considering how long it took me to do even just one question, but today was a good day.
